Summary

Description
Русский: Затверджений 23 січня 2001р. рiшенням сесії районної ради.

Щит розтятий, у першому червоному полі срібний лапчастий хрест над зеленою базою (луками); у другому срібному полі - синє полум'я. Щит вписано у декоративний картуш, доповнений знизу золотими колосками пшениці. Барви пов'язані з колористикою герба районного центру - селища Локач. Срібний хрест у червоному полі підкреслює знаходження району на Волині, а зелені луки - символ родючості та добробуту. Сині язики полум'я вказують на велике газове родовище, віднайдене на території району. Автор - І.Хамежук.
