English: Historical coat of arms of Kis-Küküllű county
Magyar: Kis-Küküllű vármegye történelmi címere
Kis-Küküllő vármegye címere szegélyezett, csücskös talpú, reneszánsz pajzs, mezejét két, hullámos pólya osztja három mezőre. A pólyák a vármegyének nevet adó Kis- és Nagy-Küküllő folyókat jelképezik. A középső mezőben hármas halmon griff áll kiöltött nyelvvel, mindkét karmával meseszerűen nagy szőlőfürtöt tart, a föld termékenységének szimbólumaként. A pajzsot nyitott, rubinnal, zafírral és igazgyönggyel kirakott levélkorona díszíti. A címerpajzsot jobbról és balról egyaránt sisaktakaró díszíti.
A középkori Küküllő vármegye területe a Kis-Küküllő-folyó mellett feküdt, központja Küküllővár volt. A vármegye területét az 1877. évi I. törvénycikk határozta meg, így azt két község kivételével a régi Küküllő vármegye, a Medgyes szász székből átcsatolt hat község és Erzsébetváros alkotta. Az 1877-ben létrejött Kis-Küküllő vármegye a régi Küküllő vármegye címeres pecsétjét vette át, amelyet Mária Terézia adományozott 1767-ben: + SIGILLUM COMITATUS DE KÜKÜLŐ 1767.

Official coat of arms and flags, being defined in such a regulation, are thus in the public domain in Hungary, and also in the US, according to § 313.6(C)(2) Compendium of U.S. Copyright Office Practices, 3rd ed. 2014 (Compendium (Third)): "As a matter of longstanding public policy, the U.S. Copyright Office will not register a government edict that has been issued by any state, local, or territorial government, including legislative enactments, judicial decisions, administrative rulings, public ordinances, or similar types of official legal materials. Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties."
