Summary

Description
English: The ground on Mars contains much ice. When ice leaves various features are created. Here, large hollows have developed. The ice will leave the ground by the process of sublimation as the atmospheric conditions do not permit melting at present. This image was prepared with NASA's HiView program with the rgb color scheme.
