English: Site of Clipston & Oxendon station, 1989.
View northward, towards Market Harborough: ex-LNWR Northampton - Market Harborough secondary main line. The station was closed on 4/1/60, when passenger services ceased on the line, but the line was important for freight, which continued until 31/5/80 and did not close completely until 15/8/81. The track-bed remained and the Northampton & Lamport Heritage Railway may well manage to reopen it northward from their present terminus.
