Summary

Description
English: Grave marker of Clifford Berryman at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, D.C., in the United States. Berryman was an editorial cartoonist for The Washington Post from 1896 to 1907, during which time he drew the cartoon which inspired creation of the Teddy Bear. He was the editorial cartoonist for The Evening Star newspaper from 1907 to his death in 1949. He won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning in 1944.
