English: After leading a team of United Kingdom labour politicians to Russia and China in September 1954, the leader of the British Parliamentary Opposition, Mr Clement Attlee, visited Australia. In Sydney on 13 September he was given a civic welcome in the city's Town Hall. The Leader of the Federal Opposition, Dr HV Evatt (right) greets Mr Attlee
