A view of the 1885 sewage pumping station, compare to this <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/751741">SK2625 : Clay Mills sewage pumping station (disused)</a> to see how far the site has progressed. There are four beam engines on site, the two in the nearet building are pending restoration while the other two are in working order. There are also loads of other smaller engines that have been restored and are usually in steam. |
