English: Clapham Junction: 'A' Box and the lines up to London, 1984,
View eastward from Platforms 7/8 (SR Western Section) towards Waterloo (centre tracks), Victoria (also Longhedge and Factory Junction, Central Section) being those to the right; turning off to the left are the West London Extension lines to Latchmere Junction, Kensington and Willesden. This view was taken 2 - 3 years after the collapse of the massive steel canopy erected over the signalbox in the War to protect it and only its skeleton was left. In the middle distance can be seen the carriage-washing plant.
