Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick models showing 8 repeat units of the trans (top) and cis (bottom) isomers of the conducting polymer polyacetylene, (CH)n. The models are based on the crystal structures reported in Makromol. Chem. (1988) 189, 2657-2669. The trans isomer is CSD entry WINCEB and the cis isomer is CSD entry WINCED01.
