The "UK Tourists" were Nigeria's early national football team. Also nicknamed the "Red Devils" due to their red shirts, the team was the first play matches abroad when they toured England, playing various clubs in 1949. Prior to this they played many non-record matches against various local and regional teams, primarily the Ghanaian national team. |
