English: Cioma (Samson) Schönhaus kept his forged soldier's passport and road map in this chest-pouch when he escaped from Berlin to Switzerland on his bicycle in 1943. According to Cioma's son Sascha, a friend of his father sewed the pouch in Berlin.
Also on display is the continental road map for cyclists and motorists that he used during his escape, as well as the document case used to store his forged passport.

Deutsch: Cioma (Samson) Schönhaus bewahrte in diesem Beutel seinen gefälschten Soldatenpass und die Strassenkarte auf, als er mit seinem Fahrrad 1943 von Berlin in die Schweiz flüchtete. Laut Ciomas Sohn Sascha, nähte eine Freundin seines Vaters den Brustbeutel in Berlin.
Auch zu sehen ist die continental-Strassenkarte für Rad- und Kraftfahrer, die er auf seiner Flucht verwendete wie auch die Dokumentenhülle zur Aufbewahrung seines gefälschten Passes.
