The inscription of 1848 records the donation by Monica Tempest. The figures below the row of pinnacles depict the Elders of the Apocalypse. The frontal shows the Crucifixion flanked by Abel, Noah, Melchisedech and Abraham. This was copied in fibreglass for the forward altar in 1992. |
