DescriptionChrist Church, Brownsville church yard.jpg
English: The graveyard of Christ Church Anglican in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. One of the oldest Anglican congregations in western Pennsylvania, Christ Church traces its origins to British troops’ worship services in present-day Brownsville in 1759. Its current grounds were purchased for a church building and graveyard in 1796, and today’s church was completed in 1857. The church is a contributing property to the Brownsville Northside Historic District. In the 2000s, Christ Church joined most of the Diocese of Pittsburgh in disassociating from the Episcopal Church as part of the Anglican realignment. It is currently part of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh in the Anglican Church in North America.
