Summary
[edit]Christ Church, Dingley designed by architect Charles Webb in an early English Gothic style was initially the dream of its benefactress Mary Attenborough. The foundation stone was laid on February 12, 1873 by the Reverend J H Gregory. The completed church was consecrated by the Bishop of Melbourne, the Right Reverend Charles Perry on September 21, 1873 and over the years since that time several stained glass windows have been added to the building.
