English: Frédéric Chopin's heart was exhumed and photographed in April 2014 to determine the composer's malady. Michaeł Witt et al. identified evidence of tuberculosis in these photographs:

a. tuberculomas;

b. "bread and butter" appearance;

c. "frosted heart" appearance;
