English: This photo of the ripe fruits of Choerospondias axillaris (Family Anacardiaceae), locally known as Lepchipoma in Assamese was taken in Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve, where it is a common tree in lower elevations. Fruiting is between October to December in Arunachal Pradesh. Regurgitated seed piles of this species is often found in resting sites of barking deer and sambar which eat the fallen fruits of this species.
