Description
English: An advertisement for Chas. A. M. Praray & Company, an architectural firm from Providence, Rhode Island which specialized in the design of mills. Praray was noted as the inventor of "Praray's Improved Construction", developed while he was a partner in the better-known firm of C. R. Makepeace & Company. The advertisement illustrates Praray's design for the mill of the T. M. Holt Manufacturing Company in Haw River, North Carolina.
