Summary

Description Part of the Skaneateles (it's pronounced skinny-atlas) Short Line Railroad is now the Charlie Major Nature Trail. It went from Skaneateles Junction along Skaneateles Creek to Skaneateles, at the north end of Skaneateles Lake in NY's Finger Lakes. You'd think they could be more creative with their names, but noooooo. There are three railroad bridges that remain, along with a number of industrial relics, from dams to more dams to even more dams. And foundations and pipestands, and decaying buildings. It's only 3/4th of a mile long, but it's an abandonfan's delight.
