English: WRC was a radio station in Washington, D.C. Original caption: "Behold here is a real Hill Billy, 'Fox-Hunt' Charlie Bowman who lives in a log cabin back in the hills ten miles from Mountain City, Tenn. Charlie came to town for a fiddlers' contest and the Hopkins boys from North Carolina were so pleased with his performance they induced him to join the Hill Billies gang."
