Caesareos que non patitur vanescere vultus, Effigie notus debuit esse Sua: Hic est qui geminas Phoebi complectitur artes, Arte iuuat Musas, et leuat arte febres. Franc Ogerius.", meaning "Charles Patin a French physician and numismatist. Having got a law degree, he then chose to study medicine and excelled himself."
