| Description |
English: Charity's House This is a picture of the house built by Charity Southgate after buying the lot in 1845, after she gained her freedom from slavery. she also built several other houses within the block for her children and grandchildren. I had the privilege of living in this house with my wife and boys in the mid 80's. The 1997 flood took it toll on a lot of properties and these were hit had and was destroyed. To this day Edward "Chipper" McGee still owns this property located at 108 Montjoy St in Falmouth KY.
