Description
English: This is image shows a large hillside exposure of the sandstone facies of the Chama-El Rito Member of the Tesuque Formation, Santa Fe Group, north of Mesa Vista School, near Ojo Caliente, New Mexico, USA. The Chama-El Rito Member is rift fill sediments of the Rio Grande Rift, deposited from about 15 to 10 million years ago, with the sediments originating in the San Juan Mountains.
