English: Central Line track maintenance, North Acton. On this bank holiday weekend this part of the Central Line was closed. Standing by the eastbound platform of North Acton station is a train with wagons of stone for the track. The rail track on the left is a surface railway which has no regular use. Photo from the Chase Road bridge, with the Victoria road bridge at the top of the photo. The light blue building on the right is a hotel, to its right are BBC rehearsal studios, both in Victoria Road. |
