Purpose of use

To illustrate the wreck of the hospital ship in the context of the wreck's discovery. This section of bow contains several identifying features used by the search team to confirm the identity of the vessel: reproduction of this image allows readers to verify that the ship depicted is Centaur and not another vessel

Replaceable?

No. The shipwreck lies over 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) below sea level, and can only be accessed by remotely operated underwater vehicle. The wreck site is protected by an exclusion zone, making unauthorised access illegal,[1] and there are no plans for further expeditions to photograph and document the wreck.[2]
