Description
English: Mr Cecil Wood (architect, left), Rt Rev H St Barbe Holland (Bishop of Wellington, centre) and Mr Will Appleton (Mayor of Wellington) with plans for proposed Wellington Cathedral. The architect (Mr Cecil Wood, FFNZIA, ARIBA, of Christchurch) points out details of the elevation to the Bishop of Wellington and the Mayor. The appeal for 100,000 people to give a penny a day for a year is being promoted by two committees - one under the Bishop working through the Anglican Church, and one under the Mayor of Wellington working through all existing associations in the province.
