Summary
DescriptionCawthra Relief SWT.JPG |
English: Part of a relief carved by Hermon Cawthra which used to be positioned over the entrance to Sadlers Wells Theatre.
This was erected in the 1930's. The building has been completely changed but Cawthra's relief has been kept and sits in a small leafed area which can be seen by entering the Stage Door entrance. It is behind glass so difficult to photograph. The relief was semi-circular in form. |
