Summary

Description
English: Cavity loses coherence due to dephasing.

A cavity is set to be initially in the superposition |0> + |1> with some energy. Naturally, the relative phase of the cavity state changes, as we can see in red, the population of the |0> + |1> state over time.

The cavity is dispersively coupled to a transmon (two-level system), and the dephasing occurs due to random thermal fluctuations in the transmon.
