Description
The detail shows the central zone of the right-hand double window. The left-hand window panel is depicted with St Catherine. She is holding a palm branch in her hands. This marks her as a martyr. The wheel is the typical attribute of St Catherine since the middle of the 13th century.

Object history The stained-glass window was designed by Jósef Mehoffer. It was executed by the studio Kirsch & Fleckner, which presented the window at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900, where Jósef Mehoffer was awarded a gold medal for this work.
