Description
English: Casa do Pinhal (House of Pinhal) is a famous Brazilian ancient coffee farm, located at the city of "São Carlos", in the past called "São Carlos do Pinhal". In the 1780s, Carlos Bartholomeo de Arruda, grandfather of the so future Conde do Pinhal, acquired two land grants in the region of Araraquara fields; his son, Manoel Joaquim Arruda Pinto also obtained a land grant in this region, these land grants that formed the mentioned Sesmaria do Pinhal.
