Carlton Haselrig after his April 19, 2008 MMA Victory over Shane Ott in Atlantic City Photo taken by Frank Huchrowski (This is me, I was in Atlantic City and I took this photo myself, after the fight, with my own camera. I would like to share the photo.)
I tried my best to follow the instructions. One of the first pages says don't click here unless you took the photo yourself. OK, I took the photo myself, so I click. But I'm never asked my name - I assume my user name will be used. I submit the photo, I look at the page, the photo does not show, no error message, no message to check back later???
Two days later I try again, I see it was rejected because I did not write in this essay section, the name of the person who took the photo. Why does that have to be in the essay? Why don't you have a simple box that asks for the name of the person who took the photo?
Why do I have to embedded copyright "tags" in the essay? I selected a copyright method in list box - where did that info go? Why was a tag not generated automatically when I selected my choice? Why do I have to click on the form AND add the tag info?
Aren't there any software people who can automate this process just a little further? Or at least provide a few good examples to copy from. I do not understand how Wikipedia got so big with a system that makes people jump through so many hoops? Why is the photo submission process like a complicated essay test when a simple multiple choice test could work? Frank Huchrowski
