Description
The house at Strandgade 6 was built in 1703 for Abraham Lehn, and is therefore generally known as Lehns Gaard. For some months in 1720, the first floor was rented out to the naval officer (and war hero) Peder Tordenskjold, giving it the alternative name Tordenskjolds Gaard. The first floor was extensively decorated, including ceiling paintings by Hendrik Krok. Source: berlingske.dk
