English: Allegorical carved stone plaque at the summit of the Canal du Midi, Seuil de Naurouze, France, in August 2000. It shows a woman pouring water from a vase, the stream dividing between two recumbent figures: on the left Neptune representing the Atlantic, and on the right a female figure representing the Mediterranean.
