Afrikaans: Hoofwerkster van Camponotus cinctellus op 'n dooie stam wat tekens van hul geknaag toon. Opgemerk langs 'n wandelpad in heuwelagtige bosveld te Voortrekkerbad, Mpumalanga, Suid-Afrika. Die effens glinsterende goudkleurige gaster is kenmerkend van die spesie. Dit is inheems aan Oos-Afrika van Eritrea tot Kenia, Rwanda, D.R.K., Tanzanië, Mosambiek (tipe-lokaliteit), Zimbabwe en Suid-Afrika. Kyk: Antweb
English: Major worker of Camponotus cinctellus on a dead log bearing signs of their gnawing action, found along a hiking trail in hilly bushveld at Voortrekkerbad, Mpumalanga, South Africa. The slightly shimmering golden-hued gaster is characteristic of the species. It is native to eastern Africa from Eritrea to Kenya, Rwanda, D.R.C., Tanzania, Mozambique (type locality), Zimbabwe and South Africa. See: Antweb
