DescriptionCambie St swing-span bridge with BC Place.jpg
English: Vancouver's second Cambie Street Bridge, opened in 1911 and closed in 1984, was a swing bridge. This photo looking north on the bridge shows the then-new BC Place Stadium, about six months after it opened. The bridge closed in November 1984, to be replaced by a new bridge at approximately the same location. This 1911 bridge was formally named the Connaught Bridge (starting in 1912), but was commonly referred to as the Cambie Street Bridge.
