View eastward, towards Callander and Dunblane; ex-Caledonian (Glasgow - Stirling) - Dunblane - Callander - Balquhidder - Crianlarich - Oban secondary main line. This picturesque line was closed completely Dunblane - Crianlarich on 1/11/65, following a major landslip, since when all traffic to Oban has run via the West Highland Line via Crianlarich. |
