While the subject of this photo (Stacie Mistysyn) is currently alive as of 19 November 2024, the photo is of Mistysyn in character, and as this photo is meant to visually identify said fictional character, there is no non-free equivalent. |

As for it's usage on the site it was sourced from, it was sourced from a website run by Degrassi actor Pat Mastroianni that used the images under Canada's Fair Dealing law. However, a few months prior to the upload of this image, and not long after I had messaged an inquiry as to where more images of it's kind could be sourced from, the image, along with many others of the same kind, disappeared from the site.
There is also that high resolution images of the Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High series are very few and far between (and judging by the lack of response from my attempts to contact WildBrain, will forever be few and far between) and it appears that neither CBC nor WildBrain have no interest in using photos like and including these for any commercial product. As for my opinion, it seems that WildBrain doesn't care about the original Degrassi series enough to have any commercial opportunity for it. Furthermore, a bot will or has likely already downsized the image to a resolution where it can not be possible to harm any sort of commercial opportunity. |
