English: Francis Noble Ratcliffewas Officer-in-Charge at the Wildlife Survey Section of CSIRO until 1961, and then became Assistant Chief of the Division of Entomology until his retirement. He was instrumental in the release of the myxoma virus to control the rabbit plague in Australia.
