Description |
Nederlands: Deze harp heeft een klankkast van kalebas, waarin een stok is gestoken die als hals van de harp fungeert. De 6 snaren lopen naar de hals vanaf een andere stok die aan de basis van de hals is vastgebonden. Een derde stok voltooit de lijst, versterkt het instrument en geeft het een grotere stabiliteit. De kalebas klankkast wordt met de open kant tegen het lichaam gehouden en getokkeld.
(Volgens Wegner, blz.76, behoort dit soort instrumenten tot de 'Rahmenzithern'; in de Grove worden 'frame zithers' genoemd (vol.3, blz.899.) According to Afrikanishe Saiten-instrumente p.76 by Ulrich Wegner, instruments like this used by the Kru (one of the names below) are of "Die Rahmenzithern" (frame zithers). |
