  • Français : Inscription de Rome trouvée vers Porta Pia. Il s’agit de l'autel funéraire de la maîtresse de l'empereur Vespasien, Caenis, affranchie d'Antonia. Le texte latin est «Dis manib(us) / Antoniae Aug(ustae) / l(ibertae) Caenidis, / optumae patron(ae), / Aglaus l(ibertus) cum Aglao et Glene et Aglaide / filiis. » (Aux dieux mânes d’Antonia Caenis, affranchie de l’Augusta (Antonia), très bonne patronne, Aglaus son affranchi avec Aglaus, Glene et Aglaide ses enfants (ont fait faire cet autel)). Caenis est connue par Suétone, Divus Vespasianus, III. Référence de l’inscription : CIL VI, 12037.
