Summary

Description
English: Cape Government Railways 4th Class 4-6-0 converted Joy of 1882 with extended smokebox. No. 289 was used during the construction of the railway from Mafeking in the Cape of Good Hope via Bechuanaland to Bulawayo in Southern Rhodesia and was at the head of the first train to reach Bulawayo on 19 October 1897.
