Description
English: In June 1998, the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) opened its doors as a training center for the nation’s emergency responders. The CDP is operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency and is the only federally-chartered Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training facility in the nation. The CDP’s mission is to operate a federal training center for delivery of high-quality, comprehensive preparedness training programs for the nation’s emergency responders.
