Summary

Description U.S. Air Force Douglas C-47A-75-DL Skytrain (s/n 42-100941) from the Colorado Air National Guard drops hay to stranded and starving livestock following a devastating blizzard in the Rocky Mountains region, 29 January 1949. During this emergency, the Colorado ANG C-47s flew 17 such missions, while F-51s and A-26s flew 10 reconnaissance missions.
