English: A U.S. Air Force Lockheed C-130E-LM Hercules (s/n 70-1264) from the 37th Airlift Squadron, 87th Airlift Wing, based at Ramstein Air Base (Germany), flies past the beaches of Normandy (France), on 6 June 2008. The fly-by was done to commemorate those who were lost 64 years ago during the Normandy invasion, D-day
