English: City Hall of Aracaju (Câmara Municipal de Aracaju), Centro, Aracaju, Sergipe. Originally built as the Palácio Gracho Cardoso.
Português: "O prédio foi inaugurado em 03 de outubro de 1872, para funcionar o Atheneu Sergipense. Originalmente sua arquitetura possuía traços neoclássicos. Para abrigar a Biblioteca Pública, em 1911, na presidência do Dr. Siqueira Menezes sofreu uma reforma que acrescentou ao edifício um segundo andar. Funcionou em diferentes épocas o antigo Tesouro do Estado. Possui uma arquitetura civil urbana, institucional, características do estilo eclético, da segunda metade do século XIX, sendo de propriedade do Município de Aracaju. Tombamento: Processo nº 095/1984. Decreto nº 12.039, de 22 de janeiro de 1991. Inscrição no Livro de Tombo nº 01 – Geral – fl. 16. Em 21/02/1991."--Plano Diretor De Desenvolvimento Urbano De Aracaju, Diagnóstico Municipal.
