Summary

Description
English: Koch, the Northwestern University Librarian from 1919 to 1941, oversaw the design and construction of the Deering Library. During his tenure he worked with American sculptor René Paul Chambellan to design many of the elements of sculpture in the library, including this bas-relief portrait.
