English: Three scenes from the BPWMA in Hanson, MA. Top image shows the view over a swamp towards the former Ocean Spray factory (smoke stack visible in distance) and along the horizon on the right hand side where the tree line is higher is Bonney Hill, the highest point in Hanson. Second image shows one of the cranberry bogs on the property. Third image shows one of the narrow trails that are surrounded on both sides by a swamp. This is part of Indian Crossway, an old Native American pathway through the uplands of the swamps to pass. |
