| Description |
English: Burnham-on-Sea Station and Loco Shed. View southward, towards Highbridge and Evercreech Junction; ex-Midland & London & South Western (Somerset & Dorset) Joint, terminus of branch from Highbridge and Evercreech Jct. This station was close to regular passenger trains 29/10/51, although saw trains at holiday times aftewards, also goods until complete closure on 20/5/63. Ex-GW 22XX class 0-6-0's, such as 2204 seen here, had worked on the line only recently. |
