Zentralbild Max Skladanowsky, Filmtechniker geb. 30.4.1863 in Berlin gest. 30.11.1939 in Berlin konstruierte 1892 eine Filmaufnahmekamera sowie einen Filmvorführungsapparat mit dem er am 1.11.1895 im Berliner Wintergarten die erste Filmvorführung gab. UBz: Max Skladanowsky (rechts) mit seinem ersten Filmprojektor "Bioskop". Links sein Bruder Eugen, der sein erster Darsteller in den von ihm gedrehten Kurzfilmen war.

English: Max Skladanowsky, (right with his first projector, the "Bioskop") Film technician, born 1863-04-30 in Berlin, died 1939-11-30 in Berlin, constructed in 1892 a film camera and projector with which he gave the first performance on 1.11.1895 at the Berliner Wintergarten. His brother Eugen (left) was the first actor in his short films.
