For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Sturm-14.2.74 Berlin: "Die Oper Einstein" von Paul Dessau erlebt am 16.2.1974 in der Staatsoper zu Berlin ihre DDR-Uraufführung. Ruth Berghaus (stehend), die Gattin des Komponisten, inszenierte das Werk. Unter ihrer Regie gelangten schon drei andere Opern von Dessau in der Oper Unter den Linden zur Aufführung. Das Libretto zur "Einstein"-Oper schrieb Karl Mickel. Die musikalische Leitung liegt in den Händen von Otmar Suitner. Andreas Reinhardt schuf die Gesamtausstattung, die Choreinstudierung übernahm Ernst Stoy.
