Zentralbild Das Revolutionsdenkmal auf dem Friedhof in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde Die Gedenkstätte für die Opfer der Revolution wurde von dem Baumeister Ludwig Mies van der Rohe errichtet und von dem Mitglied des Zentral-Komitees der Kommunistischen Partei Deutschlands, Wilhelm Pieck, am 13.6.1926 eingeweiht. Während der Naziherrschaft in Deutschland wurde das Denkmal entfernt.

A memorial to the revolutioners of 1918, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and inaugurated on 13 June 1926, later destroyed by the Nazis. After 1945 reconstructed in a different manner after a design by Wilhelm Pieck
